Project Description
The project involves the construction and operation of a wind farm, with up to 33 wind turbines, each with a generating capacity of between 2 MW and 4 MW and a total installed capacity of up to 120 MW.

Associated infrastructure includes access tracks, local road infrastructure upgrades, electrical connections between the turbines and a new substation, temporary and permanent meteorological masts, a gravel pit, a temporary concrete batching plant, as well as an operations and maintenance facility. Grid connection will be through a new substation connecting to the existing 132 kV transmission line between the Wellington substation and Beryl. The site location is about 2 km north-east of Bodangora, 20 km north-east of Wellington and 40 km south-east of Dubbo.

The wind farm is expected to be completed and operational by the end of 2015.
