The production plant will be located adjacent to the Bergene Holm sawmill in Åmli, in southern Norway.

Biozin Holding is owned by Biozin, a subsidiary of the Norwegian sawmill company Bergene Holm. Biozin and the Swedish oil company Preem have entered into a cooperation agreement to complete a full-scale biozin production plant adjacent to the Bergene Holm sawmill

Project Description
The project entails the construction of a plant that will convert biomass to liquid biocrude, which will be sold and further processed into transportation fuels in oil refineries.

The plant will use about 700 000 m3 of feedstock and produce 120 000 m3 biozin.
