Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has announced the appointment of Robin van Rensburg as the new CEO and MD of Fiat Group Automobiles South Africa, the importer of the Fiat, Fiat Professional, Abarth and Alfa Romeo brands. Van Rensburg will hold the same title at Chrysler South Africa, the importer of the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands.
Van Rensburg joins the Italian-US group from Jaguar Land Rover South Africa, where he held the position of sales director.
He succeeds Marco Melani, who will return to the Fiat Chrysler head office, in Turin, Italy, to resume his current responsibility for marketing for Africa.
