Attendees can choose to participate in the session when registering for the show on the CONEXPO-CON/AGG website

They also are welcome to stop by CEMCO’s booth,53184, for more information and a view of the company’s newest products and developments in internal wear castings.

“CONEXPO is a great opportunity to share our knowledge about VSI crushers with a vast audience,” Hise said. “That type of information isn’t easily accessible to people in this industry, which is why we also offer a two-day course at our facility in New Mexico.”

The onsite course, a more in-depth version of the CONEXPO class, includes lessons covering every aspect of production, from engineering to welding. Participants are able to see how the units are assembled and how the internal components are balanced. In addition to learning about VSI crusher design, operating principles and best practices, students can test their own material in one of the company’s full-size test crushers. The full-size units deliver more accurate production rates than what can be achieved with smaller lab crushers used at other manufacturers’ facilities.

“The goal for anyone in this industry is to reduce operating costs and improve the bottom line,” Hise said. “We want to teach people how to do that with VSI crushers so they can be successful.”

Hise has been with the family-owned company since its inception in 1962. He has numerous U.S. patents on VSI-related technologies and is a member of several industry associations, including the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association and the National Association of Manufacturers.
