JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Canadian mining company Argonaut Gold’s chairperson Brian Kennedy will retire, effective December 31.
Kennedy chaired the board since the company went public in December 2009. Prior to that, he served as Meridian Gold chairperson.
Director Jim Kofman would succeed him as chairperson.
"I have been privileged to work with Brian in many ventures and thank him for his leadership of the Argonaut team,” CEO Pete Dougherty noted.
