Project Description
The project proposes the construction and operation of a 330 MW hydroelectric facility on the Peace river, about 15 km upstream of Dunvegan, in north-western Alberta.

The Amisk project will generate about 1 875 GWh/y of electricity and will involve the construction and operation of a powerhouse, spillway, headpond, fish passage, boat passage, a connecting transmission line and substation, as well as access roads and other construction-related components.
