AltX-listed Alert Steel on Wednesday said its CEO Johan du Toit had resigned and would serve his notice until February 28.
The share price of the embattled steel retailer, which reported a loss and headline loss a share of 5.4c and 4.3c respectively for the 2012 full year, fell by 11.95% on Wednesday morning.
Its shares were trading at R1.40 a share at 10:20, compared with Tuesday’s close of R1.59 a share.
