AECI executive committee member and subsidiary AEL Mining Services MD Schalk Venter has resigned to take up a position at Afrox, effective May 18.
Venter, who was replacing Brett Kimber, had been MD since 2012 and had played a leading role in expanding AEL’s international footprint and diversifying its customer base, the company said in a statement on Monday.
He joined AECI’s executive committee in 2010.
