Project Description
The Adams and Pulida solar PV plants each have an installed capacity if 82.5 MW and can collectively generate up to more than 300 GWh/y. This is equivalent to yearly consumption needs of about 100 000 South African households, while avoiding the emission of more than 290 000 t of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year.

The two power plants are supported by a 20-year power supply agreement with South African power utility Eskom, which Enel was awarded in 2014, following the third round of the Department of Energy’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme.
