PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Tin hopeful Kasbah Resources has added to its Achmmach project, in Morocco, reporting a maiden indicated resource for the Western Zone Shallows (WZS).

The WZS resource estimate currently comprised 144 000 t of indicated resource, at 0.9% tin, for 1 300 t of contained tin.

“This is the second shallow tin resource identified at Achmmach and the first mineral resource outlined in the highly prospective Sidi Addi trend,” said Kasbah MD Wayne Bramwell.

He noted that alongside the recently reported Eastern Zone Shallow (EZS) resource, the WZS was another highly valuable shallow opportunity that had the potential to provide early ore while the central decline is being advanced.

The EZS is estimated to contain about 5 800 t of contained tin.
