WG Wearne H1 losses widen

Construction products provider WG Wearne on Monday said it expected to report a basic loss a share of between 0.45c and 0.55c for the six months ended August 31.

The company had recorded a basic loss a share of 0.52c in the six months ended August 2013.

Further, the company's headline loss a share would be between 0.6c and 0.7c, compared with a headline loss a share of 0.06c in the prior corresponding period.

WG Wearne would release its financial results on November 5.
