Project Description
The project involves the construction and operation of a 24.6 MW wind farm on a plot of commercial farmland, 5 km west of Grahamstown, in the Makana local municipality, in the Eastern Cape.

The wind farm will comprise eight wind turbines. The power produced will be fed to Makana’s municipal Waainek substation using 33 kV cables and sold to Eskom under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
