Amatola Water Board is a State-owned, water utility established in November 1997 and is mandated to render water services to water sector institutions, to local government and other customers in the Eastern Cape. Bids are invited for Sterkspruit Infrastructure Upgrade Phase 2: construction of 200 mm steel pipeline to Herschel. The scope entails the construction of 9 km Parallel 200 mm diameter steel pipeline from the Village of Madakana to the Town of Herschel, linking the new pipeline to the Herschel pumpstation. The works include: 200 mm steel pipe line; air valve chambers; scour valve chambers; river crossings; gabion retaining walls; environmental compliance and management including rehabilitation,
