Company Announcement - The BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING, the leading exhibition for welding technology in Asia, takes place in Shanghai this week. In hall E7, booth 501 Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH presents a wide range of innovative welding technology for different applications. With the robust QinTron inverter welding machines CLOOS expands the established product portfolio. As a full liner, the welding specialists will offer technologies from the entry to the premium level and from manual machines to automated robot systems. The focus of the exhibition booth is on the new QinTron product series. Together with the Chinese manufacturer Shenzhen Riland Industry Co., LTD, CLOOS developed the new inverter welding machines for the upper middle-class at record speed.

"There is an enormous market potential between the high-tech and high-end products of CLOOS and our portfolio that is targeted more at the entry level and the lower middle class", emphasises Qiu Guang, founder and managing director of SHENZHEN RILAND. "With CLOOS we found a partner with a long experience and competence from which we will benefit strongly", Guang continues. RILAND is now producing the machines in China under the quality control of CLOOS. At the BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING CLOOS will present the new inverter welding machines on the Chinese market for the first time. "With QinTron we can act on a wider scale on the international markets than we have been able to so far", explains Gerald Mies, Managing Director Robots & Welding Products at CLOOS. Song Tian Hu, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the China Construction Machinery Association compliments the successful corporation: „It is very impressive, how CLOOS and RILAND developed this excellent welding machine for various applications in just one year.”

QinTron –simply welding
A robust design, optimum ignition and welding characteristics and an excellent price/performance ratio are the main features of QinTron. Besides, the comfortable operating elements ensure an easy, quick and intuitive handling and automatically adapt to the user's requirements. The welding machines with infinitely adjustable voltage preselection are available in the capacity classes of 400 A, Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH – BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING

500 A and 600 A. The modern inverter technology offers a great energy-saving potential at an optimum degree of efficiency.

Automated and manual solutions for all industries
Besides, CLOOS will present the wide QINEO model range of high-quality welding machines for manual and automated welding. During live-demonstrations of manual welding trade visitors can experience the welding machines. Another highlight is the new QIROX QRH-280 welding robot. This highly dynamic robot is perfectly suitable for the CLOOS cell and compact system solutions. The compact design saves production area and guarantees a very good accessibility to fixtures. Thanks to the lower mass and smaller lever arm the robot achieves higher speed and thus a better positioning accuracy.

No matter if thick or thin, steel or aluminium –CLOOS presents welding processes for different materials and components. The processes Tandem Weld, Laser Hybrid Weld and Narrow Gap Weld offer a variety of possibility to optimise efficiency, productivity and quality.
