Project Description
The project will repair the N14 and to provide it with a new design life, enabling it to continue functioning for another
20 years.

Phase 1 of the freeway rehabilitation project will start from Hendrik Potgieter drive, near Krugersdorp, to Diepsloot, in Soweto, covering both sides of the freeway.

Value
R295-million.

Duration
The 18-month project is scheduled to be completed in October 2016.

Latest Developments
The Gauteng Roads and Transport Department is planning Phase 2 of the N14 upgrade that will eventually link with the N1.
