The project entails the upgrade of 21 km of the Great Northern highway between Batty Bog and Walebing, in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

This will include earthworks, pavements, drainage and associated road infrastructure.

The project is due to start in August 2014, with construction expected to last 80 weeks.
