Founded in the US in 1951, corporate immigration services provider Fragomen Worldwide has expanded its footprint to include more than 40 offices in 20 countries, with one of the newest offices having been opened in Nairobi, Kenya, in July 2014.

The opening of the Nairobi office brought to two the number of Fragomen offices in Africa. The other office on the continent, in Johannesburg, South Africa, opened its doors in 2010 and comprises an in-bound team dealing with South African work visa applications and an African coordination centre responsible for work authorisation applications in more than 40 sub-Saharan Africa countries.

The Johannesburg and Nairobi offices employ 43 and 11 people respectively.

The Nairobi office is focused on providing comprehensive advice and consultation on all aspects of Kenyan immigration services.

Kenya has emerged as a significant African hub for industries ranging from energy and resource extraction to telecommunications.

Fragomen’s services include corporate immigration services, private client services, consultations and compliance opinions, government strategies and corporate compliance, document services, and business visas and passports.
