WRS, named as one of the UK’s best companies to work for, plan to take on 50 new staff throughout 2014

Altrincham firm Worldwide Recruitment Solutions, a team of recruitment specialists within the Mining, Oil & Gas, Power and Marine sectors has been shortlisted as one of The Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work For and awarded the prestigious Best Companies Three Star Accreditation for “extraordinary” employee engagement, care and staff satisfaction.

The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For is the definitive marker of workplace engagement, employee opinion and satisfaction across the UK, with 896 organisations taking part and over 240,000 employees surveyed.

WRS’ ranking in the Top 100 will be revealed at the awards ceremony, which will take place in London on 26th February and in a league table to be published in the Sunday Times on 2nd March. WRS employ over 55 people at their head office in Altrincham, Cheshire, sourcing and recruiting high-calibre technical staff for some of the largest Mining, Marine, Oil and Gas and Power projects globally. Since inception in 2008, WRS has experienced rapid growth and were recognised in 2013 as the 8th fastest growing company in The Sunday Times Fast Track Top 100.

WRS have further plans for growth in 2014, and will be taking on another 50 employees at all levels from experienced Energy Recruitment Consultants right down to graduate trainees. WRS’ exceptional training programme ensures that all staff members have the tools and skills they need to be successful in the industry.

This recruitment drive is only the first step in their ambitious plans for the next 5 years as they aim to grow to £100M+ turnover, have 200 employees and consolidate their overseas network to support their sectors in the UK, Europe, North, Central and South America, Asia, the Middle East and Australasia.

WRS celebrated their 5 year anniversary in September 2013 and since launch has experienced a period of unprecedented, organic growth, which has already seen their employee numbers grow from 5 to 54 and turnover exceed £21M. This growth has just been recognised as WRS has been ranked at number 8 in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, which recognises Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest growing sales over the last 3 years.
