WG Wearne CFO resigns

Construction materials supplier WG Wearne on Thursday announced the resignation of its CFO and director Marius Bierman with effect from December 31.

Current group financial manager Michael Ross would be appointed interim CFO from January 1, 2014, until a suitable replacement was found.

WG Wearne narrowed its losses during the six months ended August 31, with an expected headline loss a share of between 0.3c and 0.7c and an expected basic loss a share of between 0.04c and 0.08c.

The group would release its interim financial results later this month.
