Wearne narrows its losses

Construction materials supplier WG Wearne on Friday said it expected to report a headline loss a share of between 5.5c and 6.5c for the year ended February 28, an improvement on the headline loss of 19.88c apiece incurred in the previous year.

The company, which is finalising its results for the period under review, also expected to report a basic loss of between 6c and 7c a share, compared with a basic loss of 22.86c a share for the 2012 financial year.

WG Wearne will release its financial results early in June.
