South Africa-based fasteners supplier The Fastener Factory – which will be celebrating its 1st birthday in July – offers a specialist supply and support service to diverse industries throughout the country. HEICO-LOCK washers consist of a range of wedge locking washers and nuts, as well as ring-lock washers. These are used to prevent loosening caused by vibration and dynamic loads.

Campbell notes that an important feature of the HEICO-LOCK wedge lock system is the securing of the bolt fastening, using preload force rather than friction.

Morever, The Fastener Factory represents leading brands of power tools which include Bosch, Makita & Dewalt. Also, the company represents assembly systems and power tools manufacturer Atlas Copco for its range of air and power tools, while Somta Cutting and Drilling products is also a key part of the company’s range.

Abrasive manufacturer Klingspor supplies The Fastener Factory with an extensive range of coated made-to-order belts, bonded (cutting and grinding), burrs and diamond abrasives (cutting, grinding and polishing).

The company has recently been appointed as distributors of  SKF-branded power transmission products and also imports and distributes leading brands of bearing products.
