Filtration products and systems company Donaldson Filtration Solutions has provided steel trading and steel processing company Macsteel Group with Donaldson Torit Downflo cartridge-type filters for its plate-cutting tables.

Donaldson Filtration Solutions sales manager Jacques Cato says cartridge-type filters have been established as an industry standard as they have proven extremely effective, with emission levels below 5 mg.

As part of ongoing research and development, Donaldson has developed the oval-type cartridge filter, which is used in the Donaldson Torit system. This filter reduces a company’s installation footprint and provides increased filtration efficiency.

Cato says Donaldson Torit cartridge collectors are engineered to capture the broad spectrum of dust particles that can inhibit the production environment.

From portable to central collectors, to source and ambient collectors, pressurisation filters, to booth-type collectors and weld benches, Donaldson Torit Downflo cartridge collectors provide a complete range of cartridge collectors that cost effectively enhances productivity and manufacturing efficiency, says Cato.

“We have a team of highly experienced and dedicated sales engineers that are capable of providing customised solutions for each dust or fume application,” he adds.

Donaldson is a worldwide provider of filtration systems that improve people’s lives, enhance customers’ equipment performance and protect the environment. The company is technologically driven and also committed to satisfying customers’ needs for filtration solutions through innovative research and development and application expertise.

The company’s employees contribute to its success by providing support to its customers at its more than 100 sales, manufacturing and distribution locations worldwide.

Donaldson is celebrating its hundredth year and has been servicing the South African market successfully for 50 years. This history and extensive industry experience has contributed to the company’s continued successes in increasing manufacturing efficiencies for clients and providing solutions for cleaner environments for their employees and for the atmosphere.
