Energy Valves, a division of specialist alloys and valves supplier Energy Engineered Products (EEP), was appointed in June as the sole Southern Africa distributor for Chinese special alloy valve products manufacturer Weidouli Special Valve (WSV).

“EEP has long been involved in the distribution of special alloy materials in the form of pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, plates and round bar. The WSV valves offering, therefore, forms part of a strategy to diversify our special alloy product range,” explains EEP sales and operations director Graham Whitty.

The WSV range of duplex stainless steel Alloy 2205 and Alloy 20 valves is available in store in sizes ranging from 25 mm to 100 mm, with a wider range of alloys and sizes available on request.

Further, he highlights that the WSV range of high-quality stainless steel, high-performance alloy and special alloy valves are suited to extremely challenging, corrosive and high-temperature environments.

“The WSV range of valves is suitable for numerous industries, such as the mineral processing, water treatment, power generation and petrochemicals industries, where safety and performance are critical to productive operations,” states Whitty.
“There can be no compromise when it comes to the quality of manufacturing or materials; therefore, we work only with leading international manufacturers. This approach and our collective expertise in understanding the characteristics of special alloys and corrosion enable us to ensure high-quality products.”

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, EEP offers a product range that also includes heat exchanger tube, stainless round bar, stud bolts and fasteners, as well as services provided through business units Energy Projects, Energy Exports and the recently launched Energy Bolts.

With an extensive network of high-quality suppliers based in Asia, Europe and the US, and a range of ball, butterfly, check, gate and needle valves, as well as strainers, the company says, it is perfectly positioned to offer superior-quality products to meet challenging applications.

“As an ISO 9001:2008-certified company with a commitment to high quality and the ability to supply hard-to-find items, our all-round value offering sets us apart,” concludes Whitty.
