Omnia warns of lower H1 earnings amid tough trading environment

A tough trading environment is likely to result in chemicals company Omnia reporting lower earnings for the six months ended September 30.

The company on Friday said its earnings per share (EPS) and headline earnings per share (HEPS) were expected to be between 370.5c and 395.2c, reflecting a decrease of between 20% and 25% on the EPS and HEPS of 494c reported for the six months to September 30, 2015.

The company’s interim results will be published on November 29.
