Project Description
The project involves the construction of a dredge and FTP, which is expected to have a production capacity of 11,5-million tons a year.

The FTP will have a life of at least 15 years.

The feasibility study is expected to be presented to the board later in 2010, with production expected to start in 2012.

Client
Namdeb Diamond Corporation - a joint venture between the government of the Republic of Namibia and De Beers.

Latest Developments
Firestone Diamonds has been awarded a contract to supply and operate the dredge and the FTP. Revision of the feasibility study has started to ensure that it reflects current capital costs and projected operating costs.
