Project Description
Bo Sidi Abdel Rahman is the biggest project ever planned for the north coast of Egypt, covering a total 728 ha. The project will be rolled-out in two phases – Bo Islands and Bo Sands.

The Bo Sands compound offers a full range of facilities and services, comprising a commercial district with international brands, four- and five-star hotels, a club house, sports facilities and a fun park.

The statement noted that the Bo Sands apartments will range from 80 m2 to 200 m2.

All apartments will overlook artificial lakes and swimmable lagoons, which account for about 80% of the project’s total area.

The Bo Islands project covers 121 ha and is designed by the English firm AECOM, in collaboration with Spanish company HCP.
Lakes, waterways and green areas constitute about 88% of the project’s total area to provide privacy for each unit in the residential areas. The project includes four- and five-star hotels, in addition to commercial zones, parks, a medical centre and a global university.

Value
The total project is estimated at £E14-billion.

Total investment for Bo Sands amounts to £E 6.5-billion.

Total investment for Bo Islands has reached £E 3.5-billion.

Duration
The first phase of Bo Sands will be delivered by 2019, with the whole project expected to be completed by 2022.

Latest Developments
Work on the first phase of the Bo Islands project has started. Excavation work has begun, as well as the construction of artificial lakes, and about 85% of the project’s roadwork has been completed.
