Industrial engineer Kamogelo Mmutlana has been appointed to take the helm at Barloworld Logistics.

He will be responsible for driving further growth in the Logistics business, aligning with Barloworld Group-wide growth ambitions, and will seek to ensure that Barloworld Logistics remains agile, innovative and responsive to both technological changes and evolving consumer needs.

Given that Barloworld Logistics has a solid record within its field, the focus will be on strengthening existing systems and processes and not changing them, Mmutlana noted.

“His record leading complex, blue-chip companies and driving innovation spans high-profile businesses including Fedics Food Services, BMW South Africa and Super Group subsidiary SGE – where he was the divisional CEO of FleetAfrica for nine years prior to joining Barloworld,” the company said in a statement.
