The Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GDDA) and its subsidiary, The Innovation Hub, have appointed Advocate Pieter Holl CEO of The Innovation Hub.

He succeeds Dr McClean Sibanda, who served as acting CEO from June to November.

Prior to joining The Innovation Hub, Holl was the deputy director-general for business regulation and governance for the GDDA.

Holl has held other senior management positions over a period of more than 15 years, with duties that included legal advisory services, technical and operations functions, such as budgeting and set procedures for effective implementation of corporate governance systems.

He has served on various oversight committees, including on the Gauteng Liquor Board, the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller and the Gauteng Gambling Board.
