World Water Works, a leading designer and manufacturer of wastewater treatment solutions, announces that it is a platinum sponsor of the Jammin’ 4 Water event to be held during WEFTEC 2014 on Saturday, September 27th at the House of Blues, New Orleans, LA. World Water Works Chief Technology Officer, Chandler Johnson, will also participate in the open-mic amateur event benefitting water-focused charities serving communities around the world.
All proceeds from Jammin’ 4 Water 2014 go to organizations working for clean water access around the globe, including: the WEF Community Service Project, helping attendees to give back to the WEFTEC host city of New Orleans; Global H20, dedicated to bringing clean water to people in developing countries; Water For People, which helps people in impoverished areas to build and maintain their own reliable, safe water systems; Water.org, which helps foster collaboration and innovation throughout the water sector; and Wine to Water, focused on providing clean water to people in need throughout the world.
“I am thrilled to participate in such a fun and rewarding event,” said Johnson, “it is an honor to sponsor and have the World Water Works name affiliated with such a great event aimed at helping causes in our industry.”During the conference, World Water Works will also release a new technology that solves the industry-wide issue of floating or bulking sludge in conventional activated sludge wastewater treatment systems. WWW will also highlight three of its proven reliable, high-performance, high-efficiency wastewater treatment solutions: the DEMON®, IDEAL MBBR™, and IDEAL DAF™ systems.
