Project Description
The project aims to initially convert up to one-million tons a year of municipal solid waste, sourced from waste management operators and mined from existing landfills, into hydrogen. The facility will have the capacity to expand to manage up to four-million tons of waste.

The project also includes the construction of a 300 MW baseload-capable photovoltaic solar installation, which will include 70 MW of electrical storage. The production of hydrogen and carbon dioxide (CO₂) generated from the waste has an export value of more than $268-million, comprising 67 000 t of green hydrogen and one-million tons of CO₂.
