On 14 July 2017 Wacker Neuson South Africa’s premises in Robertville on Johannesburg’s West Rand was a hive of activity as Operation Renovate swung into action.

The premises which include a warehouse, workshop and offices have been ‘home’ to Wacker Neuson South Africa for over 36 years.

“In order to maintain Wacker Neuson’s high standards of customer satisfaction, it is imperative that our well-known premium brand is maintained,” comments Managing Director for Wacker Neuson, Sub-Saharan Africa, Dennis Vietze.

“We are extremely proud of our brand and want to show it off to our customers when they visit the property so the exterior as well as the interior of all the buildings must represent and support the brand.”

“Furthermore, the clean-up of the existing premises was essential in order to fully complement the modern and professional appearance of our brand new warehouse which was recently constructed on the adjacent property,” adds Dennis.

Staff members conducted a general clean-up of the area which included the removal of old branding; a total of eight skips were filled.Operation Renovate also turned out to be an excellent team building exercise as departments came together to assist each other.

After the successful clean-up Wacker Neuson held a welcome party for Dennis who joined the South African Wacker Neuson team as Managing Director on June 1st 2017.

In true South African style Dennis was treated to a traditional ‘braai’. A photo booth which evoked some hilarious moments captured the momentous occasion. Five staff members were also presented with 10, 20 and 30 year-long service awards in recognition of their dedication and commitment to the company.
