Wacker Neuson South Africa (Pty) Ltd., a subsidiary of the forward-thinking global Wacker Neuson Group, is proud to be appointed as the authorised dealer for Italy-based machine attachment specialist, Cangini Benne.

As one affiliate in the Wacker Neuson Group to be awarded a Cangini Benne dealer certificate, Wacker Neuson South Africa is now able to distribute and sell the complete range of premium quality Cangini Benne attachments within the South and Sub-Saharan African territories. Wacker Neuson customers can now benefit from faster, local access to Cangini products, product expertise, and aftermarket care.

Cangini Benne was established in Italy in the 1980s and the brand has been present in Southern Africa for approximately ten years. The company is globally renowned for the design and production of one of the widest attachment portfolios on the market which include standard and hydraulic work tools for excavators, skid-steer loaders, wheel loaders, and telehandlers. Wacker Neuson leads the international market in the design, manufacture, and supply of all these compact machines.

“We are extremely excited to be a distributor for Cangini Benne,” says Dennis Vietze, Managing Director for Wacker Neuson Sub-Saharan Africa. “Both companies are rated high on product quality and service excellence by customers worldwide. Collaboration with like-minded partners is an important part of our business strategy in a bid to provide turnkey solutions to our customers. Moreover, through this partnership, we are able to offer our customers an impressively wide range of attachments, transforming our machines into fully-fledged tool carriers for handling multiple agricultural and construction applications. We are now ideally positioned to provide end-to-end customer solutions,” stresses Dennis who lauds the variety, quality, robustness, reliability, and versatility of the Cangini product range.

The relationship between the two companies kicked off in 2014 when Antonio Cannaò, International Sales Director for Cangini Benne, visited the Wacker Neuson stand at the Nampo agricultural show. “Whenever one of our customers was looking for an attachment, we would source it from the Cangini range and contact Antonio for pricing. This was the start of a solid long-term relationship that is now cemented in a formal dealership agreement,” states Dennis.

“Our association developed slowly but steadily over the years,” says Antonio. “In addition to the geographical distance between the two companies, the recent Covid pandemic, with its related lockdowns and travel restrictions, further impeded our plans. However, both parties acknowledged that we could continue to count on each other’s full commitment. Our collaboration finally took huge strides forward this year as we officially welcome Wacker Neuson to the Cangini Benne dealership stable.”

Antonio considers Wacker Neuson a valuable addition to the Cangini Benne dealer network. “Wacker Neuson is synonymous with outstanding products and service quality across the globe and Southern Africa is certainly no exception. Cangini is proud to be in business with other Wacker Neuson entities all over the world and, of course, this is another milestone in strengthening the excellent relationship between the two companies. The competence, skills, commitment, and integrity of the people we have met at Wacker Neuson South Africa mirror the key values in Cangini Benne’s vision of the business.”

The agreement gives Wacker Neuson access to the full Cangini range. Dennis discloses that the Cangini excavator buckets, hydraulic brooms, and mulchers are particularly popular with Wacker Neuson customers because of their high quality. Antonio adds that they see great potential in the Southern African region for hydraulic tools for both excavators and front-mounted machines such as tilting hitches, selector grabs, mulchers, concrete mixer buckets, different types of sweepers and sweeper buckets as well as a unique laser-guided dozer blade. He points out that these will be the perfect match for Wacker Neuson’s skid steer loaders and wheel loaders for very accurate and fast grading.

Wacker Neuson is responsible for sales to both public and private entities as well as for after-sales service, maintenance, repairs, and skilled technical support on all Cangini Benne products in the field.

“Wacker Neuson is committed to delivering premium quality products and services to customers across Sub-Saharan Africa and this partnership with Cangini Benne further strengthens our ability to meet these objectives,”
