Telecommunications group Vodacom on Monday announced the resignation of CFO and executive director Ivan Dittrich, effective July 31.

Vodacom South Africa executive director for finance Till Streichert would succeed Dittrich, who was leaving to pursue his own interests.

Till, who joined Vodacom in February 2014, was the former CFO of Vodafone Romania and has held a number of senior finance and commercial roles in Romania, such as channel marketing, logistics and sales operations director and financial planning and reporting and finance operations director.

Meanwhile, former Vodafone India CEO and MD Marten Pieters would replace Hatem Dowidar, who resigned as Vodafone Group nonexecutive director, effective September 30.

Pieters was currently a Vodafone India and Indus Towers nonexecutive director, as well as the chairperson of the Social Investor Foundation for Africa and member of the supervisory board of the Investment Fund for Health in Africa.
