Tubestone opened in Cape Town in 2001. Initially, Tubestone's core business was the importation and distribution of inner tubes. An office was opened in Johannesburg four months later, followed a year later with an office in Durban. October 2004 saw the launch of Tubestone in Bloemfontein.
