JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Aeris Resources’ Tritton operation in New South Wales achieved record yearly copper production of 30 425 t in the 2016 financial year and has exceeded the previously upgraded guidance for 29 500 tons.

Contained copper production for the fourth quarter was 7 098 t.

“The 2016 financial year has been another outstanding year at our Tritton operations. Not only have we exceeded our previously upgraded full year guidance, but this is the third consecutive year we have achieved record annual production,” said executive chairperson Andre Labuschagne, adding that the company was continually seeking ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
