Industrial automation and information company Rockwell Automation will host a comprehensive two-day training programme – its Automation University – at Emperors Palace, in Gauteng, from May 17 to 18.

Anyone interested in leading-edge automation solutions, from engineers to business managers, can attend.

Rockwell Automation sub- Saharan Africa welcomes participants to the programme, which is targeted at systems integrators, from management and engineering to information technology and purchasing. The theme of this year’s programme is The Connected Enterprise – Smart Productive Secure.

Automation University is designed to give professionals the opportunity to discuss current and emerging challenges in the integrated information and automation solutions industry, incorporating news, views, trends and technologies. The university consists of over 50 different hands-on laboratories, demonstrations and presentations relating to the products and services offered by Rockwell Automation.

The format of the event enables customers to plan a programme suited to their needs, while industry seminars, presented by experts in the field, will be conducted for the mining, oil and gas, water and wastewater, consumer and automotive industries.
