Project Description
The Tortue field is estimated to contain more than 15-trillion cubic feet (tcf) of recoverable gas.

The project entails producing vast volumes of gas located in very deep water (around 2 700 m deep) and transferring the gas along more than 100 km of flowlines to a modular floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) production system.

The liquefied natural gas production modules are expected to be located at a newly built breakwater and expanded as required over time.
