GIBB, a leading South African consulting engineering firm has been recognised as one of the Top 5 best performing companies in its sector and will be featured in this year’s 9th edition of Top 500 Business to Business directory.
After the long-awaited benchmarking results for the 2016 edition of Top500, the definitive directory of South Africa's most successful businesses and top performing companies driving the economy, GIBB has once again been ranked in top 5 in its sector..
Over 4 000 companies were surveyed over the last year and there has been significant movement with a number 16 new companies taking top position in their respective sectors. The Top500 research methodology has been designed in conjunction with the University of Cape Town’s Development Policy Research Unit. The top five companies from each of the 100 business sectors constitute the Top500 benchmarked companies in South Africa.
GIBB has consistently remained ahead of the curve as leaders in the industry, amid growing competition from multinational firms. The firm, through its multi-disciplinary approach and proven quality track record has managed to create a reputable brand and has solidified its presence in the market.
According to Group CEO, Richard Vries, despite tough economic conditions, GIBB has managed to secure this position. “It is an honour for us as we strive to provide excellence in all that we do as a brand. Receiving accolades of this nature reaffirms that GIBB has made its presence felt in the industry. While competition remains fierce, it is quality work, a keen focus on talent management and a client centric approach that keeps us ahead of the pack,” he concluded.
