As part of a growth strategy to further align itself with parent company, the Bidvest Group, facilities management group Total Facilities Management Company (TFMC) has changed its name to Bidvest Facilities Management and plans to expand its offering by unbundling its integrated facilities management package to provide additional, individual, customised solutions to a wider business market.

Noting that the company had always had a strong presence in the facilities management industry, Bidvest Facilities Management CEO Bruce Spence said the group planned to build on this platform and expand its market share even further.

The company’s six new focused solutions were mobile generators, utilities management, mobile maintenance, structure integrity specialists, telecommunications services and a training academy.

“We are looking forward to taking this new brand to market. With these focused services we are going to be penetrating into multiple business sectors with a more diverse client base and we anticipate an enthusiastic response,” he commented.

According to Spence, the newly focused business planned to continue providing its core traditional integrated facilities management services, but would increase its focus on these additional solutions during the course of the year.

“There is a high demand for these services. Business and property owners need facilities management solutions they can rely on even if they do not necessarily require the full integrated package for which we are known.

“Unbundling and customising our integrated package gives more clients access to the specific facilities services they need,” added Bidvest Facilities Management chief sales and marketing officer Derek Jack.
