Project Description
Sun International plans to relocate its casino at Morula, in North West, to a new large-scale mixed-use and urban entertainment destination in Menlyn, Pretoria.

The proposed gaming, entertainment and conference facilities to be developed by Sun International will be complementary to the Menlyn Maine project.

Time Square at Menlyn Maine will offer a five-star hotel, with 100 luxury rooms and ten suites; a conference centre; an indoor entertainment arena seating 8 000 people; a diverse range of retail shopping stores, bars and restaurants, with parking for 2 785 vehicles; and a state-of-the-art casino, built to the latest design and technology standards and accommodating up to 3 000 slot machines and 100 tables.

The project will cost an estimated R3-billion to implement.

Duration
Should the board approve the project, construction will be undertaken in a single phase over 30 months, with the development earmarked for completion by June 2017.
