Frontier & Advisory  (0.17 MB)

(Company Annoucement) The forum will bring together key stakeholders including the Dube TradePort, the Richards Bay IDZ, Trade and Investment KZN and KZN Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs. KwaZulu-Natal is seeking to promote itself as the access point for capital and investment into the broader provincial and regional economy. In pursuit of this strategy, the KZN Government – together with leading local companies - seeks to boost its attractiveness as a regional hub through both promoting enhanced service efficiencies and more productive infrastructure.

Whilst government seeks to provide an enabling environment, the vision can only be realised through the success of the business sector – the focus being on both “hard” infrastructure as well as “soft” i.e. talent management, intellectual property and business acumen.

Joining this Frontier Forum will be: Daniel Seah, Centre Director, Johannesburg, Middle East and Africa Group, International Enterprise Singapore; Andre Pottas, Partner, Infrastructure & Capital Projects Advisory Leader: Africa, Deloitte; Professor Ahmed Bawa , Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Durban University of Technology; Pumi Motsoahae, CEO, Richards Bay IDZ; Neil Sankar, Director: Public Infrastructure; Hatch Goba; Simon Tankard, CEO: UKZN

Extended Learning
Lester Bouah, Executive Manager: Export Development and Promotion, TIKZN; Natascha Trainor, Investment Officer in SA Finance: Transport Logistics and ICT, DBSA; Kevin Reid; Business Development Manager, Stefanutti Stocks Civils KZN; Gary Whiteford, Principal: CIB Head KZN, Eastern Cape at Absa Capital
