With over 20 years of experience, ThoroughTec is one of the world leaders in military simulation. The CYBERWAR range of military Operator Training and Tactical Crew Training simulators is built to the highest standards of military system engineering at ThoroughTec’s state-of-the-art facility in Durban. The South African company will be demonstrating their prowess at the upcoming Africa Aerospace and Defence 2014 at Air Force Base Waterkloof, Pretoria, South Africa between 17-21 September.
ThoroughTec will be showcasing their driver training simulator based on a MAN truck as well as displaying their tactical simulation capabilities.
“Due to the culmination of years of experience in developing operator training simulators for the military, mining and commercial sectors, the Operator Training simulator is the ideal solution for militaries looking to economically train large numbers of personnel on a wide range of vehicles and systems,” says David Cooke, Military Business Development Manager at ThoroughTec.
ThoroughTec is the largest single supplier of driver and tactical simulators to the South African National Defence Force. They have built Tactical Training simulators for Armoured Fighting Vehicles, Main Battle Tanks and Anti-Tank Guided Missile Vehicles. On top of this, advanced Operator Driver Trainers have been developed for Armoured Personnel Carriers, gunnery and driver training for Infantry Fighting Vehicles, Tactical Crew Training simulators for all four variants of the new Infantry Combat Vehicle and numerous car and truck simulators. Most recently ThoroughTec has supplied Advanced Driver Training systems to the Swedish and Croatian militaries.
Potential customers will be able to experience these high-tech simulators hands-on at Air Force Base Waterkloof, Pretoria between 17-21 September in Hangar 5, Stand E1. For a personal demonstration contact info@thoroughtec.com
