The Director General of the South African Department of Energy, Mr. Thabane Zulu will be opening up the Women in Energy Conference on the 18th February, 2019 and delivering the keynote address.  The Women in Energy Conference is a one-day side-event of the AEI Conference (19-20th February, 2019). 

The Women in Energy Conference taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre, provides a platform for women to network, share expertise and discuss their accomplishments in order to encourage the advancement of women across all sectors of the energy industry.

The development of renewable energy and energy efficiency programmes is intended to address unemployment, create business opportunities and enable women to play a more significant role in the development of sustainable projects towards enhanced economic development.
