Audi dealerships are known for their aesthetically pleasing appearance, which conforms to the specific requirements of their corporate identity directives. Therefore, the forecourts require a paving product that will support these design and appearance prerequisites while still offering a durable and economical solution. That is why Technicrete ISG was chosen to pave the latest Audi dealership in Polokwane with their Double Zig Zag interlocking pavers.

“The new Audi dealership that recently opened in Polokwane is the first one in South Africa where Audi have changed their forecourt from tar to slate pavers as per their new global directive. The grey and white, glass tinted windowed Audi showroom design has been complimented by the installation of our slate coloured 80 mm thick DZZ’s’ said Jan Booysen, Owner of Boemo Paving, the sub-contractors on this project.

Booysen continued “We installed 2,700 m2 of Technicrete DZZ interlocking pavers as well as Bond Brick pavers for the back of the dealership where supplies are stored. We chose a Technicrete product first and foremost because it complies with the SABS standards and the subsequent guarantee. They are very durable pavers and suit vehicle dealerships perfectly.”

“The service we receive from Technicrete ISG in Polokwane is of a very high standard. I always recommend my customers and associates to Technicrete ISG because of their high standard of customer service and the high quality of their products” concluded Booysen.

“The choice of the slate coloured DZZs, to my mind, really does finish off the final forecourt appearance very well. We have been contracted to supply DZZ’s to many petrol stations and motor vehicle dealerships because of the quality and longevity associated with our DZZ interlocking pavers and the wide range of colours available” said Hendrik Steenkamp, Sales Representative for Technicrete ISG in Polokwane.

“It is not only consumer vehicle traffic that a premier brand dealership like Audi experience, it is also the low bed transporters, delivery vehicles and ‘feet’ traffic that accompanies it. Additionally, Audi customers expect a safe and secure walking surface at an Audi dealership, and that is what we provide – a smooth, evenly installed walking surface. I think our DZZ interlocking paver reputation is well acknowledged within the market place, which is why contractors such as Boemo Paving are happy to work with us on their various projects in Polokwane” said Steenkamp.

The Technicrete DZZ interlocking pavers form a hard wearing overlay surface which is particularly suited to petrol station forecourts. They have also been successfully installed at industrial and commercial business parks, medical facilities, universities, and retail centres. Sectional title complexes have also found that utilising Technicrete’s DZZ’s is more affordable and longer lasting to re-tarring driveways and entrances.

Technicrete ISG is part of the IS Group which also comprises Rocla and Ocon Brick.
