Supports Address Device Validation, Manufacturing Test for Internet-of-Things

Company Announcement - Keysight Technologies, today announced new WLAN 802.11ah and 802.11af capabilities for the EXM wireless test set. The EXM now supports more Internet-of-Things wireless devices and formats in the design validation and manufacturing stages of product development. In addition, the technologies expand the test set’s existing broad multi-format coverage of wireless connectivity, cellular formats and development.

“The Internet of Things, or IoT, is beginning to grow significantly, and by 2020, industry analysts anticipate this technology will link 28 to 33 billion objects,” said Satish Dhanasekaran, general manager of Keysight’s Mobile Broadband Operation. “The versatility of the EXM helps device producers meet the growing demand for the latest wireless and smart devices, including the IoT. With this latest release, we have once again demonstrated that EXM provides manufacturers with a platform that protects their investment and easily evolves with device producers changing needs.”
