The Benjamin Franklin container ship, which has been built in China and is owned by French shipping group CMA CGM, will be the biggest-ever container ship to dock in the US when it is arrives at the Port of Long Beach in mid-February. It is said to be bigger than the Empire State Building, wider than a football field and able to transport around 18 000 containers at a time. The picture shows a dock worker alongside the vessel, ahead of its departure from the Port of Guangzhou, China.
