Hotel, gaming and entertainment group Tsogo Sun on Monday opened its newest offshore hotel property, StayEasy Maputo, in Mozambique.

This addition to the Tsogo Sun Hotels portfolio will bring the group’s number of properties outside of South Africa to 11. This is the group’s third hotel in Mozambique.

StayEasy Maputo is located along the coast in Mozambique’s capital and is situated for business guests, and leisure travellers, visiting the city.

Only 9 km from the Maputo International Airport, StayEasy Maputo is adjacent to the Baía Shopping Mall, offering easy access to convenient stores and restaurants.

Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities, including an outdoor deck next to a swimming pool, a modern meeting room for up to 12 delegates, and a self-service workstation. A state-of-the-art gym is available at the Baía Shopping Mall.

StayEasy Mozambique has 125 comfortable en-suite rooms, where guests can enjoy in-room tea and coffee facilities, an electronic safe and air conditioning.

Select DStv channels are available, and each guest will receive 250 MB complementary WiFi, with rewards members receiving 2 GB free WiFi per room daily.

A light complementary breakfast is offered at StayEasy Maputo between 06:30 and 09:30, encompassing a simple, fresh continental selection.

“We are excited to finally open the doors to Tsogo Sun’s newest property in Mozambique. We believe in the potential for growth in Mozambique, and StayEasy Maputo will be an exciting addition to our portfolio in the country,” explains StayEasy Maputo and Southern Sun Maputo GM Bruce Chapman.
