Machine tools and other precision applications require superior bearing performance. Extended speed capability, a high degree of running accuracy, high system rigidity, low heat generation, as well as low noise and vibration levels are just some of the challenges.

Rolling bearings for general industrial applications can only partly fulfill these requirements. Consequently KF manufactures a comprehensive assortment of super-precision bearings which help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and end users to further optimise performance parameters of their equipment and applications.

The benefits differ depending on the bearing series and applications but include high speed and load carrying ability, long bearing service life, long maintenance intervals and low energy consumption.

SKF is a leading global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, lubrication systems, and services which include technical support, maintenance and reliability services, engineering consulting and training. SKF is represented in more than 130 countries and has around 17,000 distributor locations worldwide. Annual sales in 2017 were SEK 77 938 million and the number of employees was 45 678. www.skf.com
