SERR Synergy – Business legal compliance that matters

17th May 2019

Font size: - +

The business environment in South Africa is continuously changing with the introduction of new legislation and the amendment of existing legislation.

Established in 2014, SERR Synergy focuses on legal compliance with elements of the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice and other legal requirements, including the new Companies Act, Skills Development and Employment Equity legislation, Consumer Protection Act, National Credit Act, PAIA and POPI Act as well as Labour relations issues pertaining to business and domestic employees.

Our leadership team has more than 30 years’ experience in Business Structuring and Compliance; our cofounding director, Gideon Gerber, has been involved in B-BBEE legislation since its inception in 2004, serving on working committees, providing inputs to Technical Committees on the drafting of the B-BBEE Codes and consulting with entities  from big multinationals to small family-owned businesses. Within a short space of time, we have established ourselves as SA’s leader in Employee and Community B-BBEE ownership structures.

We have a national footprint with our head office in Pretoria and offices in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Upington. We envisage expanding our footprint with offices in other areas of South Africa in the near future.

We offer specialist consulting services that include access to:

  • B-BBEE consulting and verification facilitation;
  • labour and corporate attorneys;
  • auditors and tax experts;
  • occupational health and safety advisers;
  • skills development facilitators;
  • employment equity advisers;
  • accredited training facilitators, assessors and moderators;
  • HR specialists;
  • UIF and workmen’s compensation experts;
  • learnerships / YES programmes;

Our overall aim is to assist you in developing your business to operate both legitimately and sustainably and at the same time benefit from South Africa’s unique economic landscape.
