The Netherlands cargo control company Loadlok is leading South African truck and trailer body building company Serco’s latest global partner. Serco has joined forces with Loadlok to ensure it maintains its dominant position in the market as well as to keep abreast with the latest ideas and technology current available internationally. Loadlock’s CEO Johan de Rooij recently joined Serco representatives for a South African tour to introduce their technology to Serco’s key customers in centres including Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

At well-attended breakfast gatherings, Loadlok’s Director of Production, Research and Development, Mr Eelco Noort, gave insights into the different markets the company supplies and then spoke on cargo restraints, multi temperature load dividers and what solutions they could offer for South Africa as well as their company's double stacking system which Serco has started introducing locally.

Serco managing Director, Clinton Holcroft, also addressed the meetings saying the goal of his company was to constantly strive to give its customers “the Serco edge. This means working with our loyal customers to ensure they benefit fully from the latest value-adding technology, thus giving them the edge in their markets.”

Holcroft said Serco was delighted to welcome Loadlok as its partner in South Africa. “Loadlok is a European leader in cargo control products, and is keen to work with us to find best solutions for the applications and challenges in the local market.

‘In the more than 35 years Serco has been manufacturing in South Africa we have been fortunate to have developed relationships with some of the top blue chip companies in various sectors of the market. By partnering with these key Industry leaders we are able to jointly look for new ways to bring about efficiencies in the South African transport market. This is the win/win we are looking for in these partnerships,” said Holcroft.

“But we can’t do this by ourselves, so we are continuously looking to partner with organisations such as Loadlok, which come with great solutions and experience.

“Serco is proud to announce we are the official distributor for Loadlok in Southern Africa,” added Holcroft.
